Chris Jones

Chris Jones is retired from the University of Iowa where he researched water quality in agricultural landscapes and wrote a lively blog communicating scientific research to general audiences.
Chris holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Montana St. Univ. and BA in Chemistry and Biology from Simpson College, which recently awarded him its Distinguished Alumni Award. He has authored many book chapters, edited several books, is the author or coauthor of 55 published scientific papers, and is the author of the book The Swine Republic, Struggles with the Truth about Water Quality and Agriculture.

Chris lives in Iowa City.
